Ahsoka will follow the once-Jedi as she investigates a rising threat to the New Republic, Grand Admiral Thrawn, with the help of Ghost Crew's Sabine Wren and Her Syndulla. The trio will also search for their long-missing friend, Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger, who disappeared before the destruction of the Death Star with Thrawn. The series picks up story threads set up by the series finale of Rebels and ties into the larger story of the New Republic that Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau have been telling with The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
